Made for 2019 Global Game Jam held at Maryland Institute College of Art.
Buncho is a game about a baby bird that has been separated from its mother. It has to build temporary nests and avoid hungry predators on its journey to find her and its siblings again.
Buncho was made during 2019 Global Game Jam held at Maryland Institute College of Art.
I joined the team of 5 and each members took a role based on their skills to be the most efficient for short 48 hours time limit.
After two game jams, I knew that we had to plan ahead to prevent any disasters.
We decided to be bold and create a 3D narrative adventure game from scratch with no pre-made assets.
I designed and scripted the interaction and checkpoint system, coded enemy AI, designed lighting and applied post-processing to give the game its finished look.
